Haarlem's tech community. Finally.
The Launchpad023 Community
Launchpad023 is a community in Haarlem for people who love technology and want to use it for good.
Haarlem has quickly filled up with tech people: developers, remote workers, founders, and tinkerers. The problem is there’s no real tech scene here. No obvious place to find each other, talk shop, or just be around others who get it.
That’s the gap we’re trying to fill. Not a copy of what exists in other cities, but something that actually belongs here.
Who it's for
The community is for anyone in and around Haarlem who works with technology, thinks about its impact, or just wants to be around others who do.
The freelancer who works from home but misses having colleagues
The remote employee at a company somewhere else who wants local connection
The founder with questions and no one obvious to ask
The career changer who wants peers, not just tutorials

What we stand for
We’re not neutral about technology. We think it matters who builds it, how it’s built, and who it serves. At Launchpad023 that means:
Promoting free and open sources software
helping individuals and organizations move away from closed platforms & big tech
encouraging thoughtful engineering and software craftsmanship
supporting ethical, sustainable business practices
How community happens
We run regular in-person events worth showing up for and easy to get to. Some are technical, some are social, most are a bit of both. The goal is simple: good people, good conversation, something worth leaving the house for.
Between events, the conversation continues in the Haarlem Tech Community Discord. Ask a question, share something you built, find a collaborator, or just lurk.
the coworking side
Work from here, too.
If you want to be involved beyond the community, you can work from here. The desks are good. The wifi is fast. The coffee (& tea) is unlimited. But honestly? The reason to come back is for who else is in the room. Developers, founders, and remote professionals doing work that matters, right here in Haarlem.
